Writer
Hello! I’m Ria :))
A student by day, and writer by night. Being an English Literature Graduate, and pursuing my Masters in Psychology, I hold a deep interest in understanding human beings — the minds, the hearts, the emotions, the thoughts, and most importantly the soul. I hope to someday move the world and maybe even heal it a little, with my words. I’m driven by curiosity and constantly seek opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills. I thrive in environments where there’s room to explore, experiment, and grow. And this is me, in words- Let’s begin ![]()

The Originality Dilemma
Is anything we create ever truly our own, or are we all just remixing echoes of the past? This article dives into the murky waters of originality — questioning borrowed brilliance, divine inspiration, and whether “new” is just a clever reimagining of what once was. Through literature, art, and modern media, the Think Piece written for India Film Project- unpacks the blurred lines between imitation and invention. Because maybe, in chasing originality, we’re really just trying to remember who we are.

Having chaired over 50 events, and managing crowds of diverse age groups, I am extremely reliable when it comes to management, organization and leadership. And be it meeting deadlines or carrying chocolates in my pocket at all given points, I am the perfect teammate to have.
So here are my two resumes- both tell the same story. But while one plays it by the rulebook, the other plays with form, and freedom.

Same coin, new side
From field to court, from track to road, I have done it all. Having played over 10 sports professionally, I am just as comfortable in my spikes and shorts, as I am with my pen and pajamas. Sports has always been a huge part of my life. It has taught me a lot about life and also is a complete juxtaposition of my other persona. So yes, I am that person that can work well under pressure on both sides. More often than not, the coin falls upright, and they call me best of both worlds.
